Since meeting showgirl Tutu in 1994, we have collaborated on many occasions. Therefore, when Tutu was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, it seemed obvious that we would document her fight to overcome the disease. Sadly, Tutu passed away peacefully on the 28th March, 2012.

In engaging with this project, Tutu hoped to inspire and empower others suffering from similar trauma. These images are her legacy.

In line with Tutu’s last wishes, I am hoping to secure funding and source galleries willing to show this work.
